I am working with a team to conduct a return-on-investment analysis for a child abuse prevention program in NC. As part of this process, we need to determine the cost of foster care placement.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a publication and/or other source to estimate these costs? I realize this is an incredibly complex issue to "cost" (will vary by state, which costs are included, immediate vs. long-term costs, etc). We are
considering all aspects of the costs and would appreciate your recommendations.
Thank you all--
