Subject:Re: Question to post

Many years ago when I worked in foster care the relief for many foster care was the agency's payment for kids' summer camp for 2 weeks.. Two birds with one stone. Also, some foster parents helped each other with time exchanges. -----Original Message----- From: kate schumaker To: child-maltreatment-research-L@cornell.edu Sent: Thu, Nov 5, 2015 8:57 am Subject: Question to post Dear all, I am looking for any research conducted on the practices and effectiveness/outcomes of providing foster parents with relief (i.e., respite care services). Outcomes of interest include but are not limited to perceived helpfulness, and foster parent retention. Any and all references gratefully accepted.
