Subject:Literature/practice on screening and addressing child/adolesent trauma in primary care/health care settings
Greetings All,
Does anyone know of any literature offering guidance on primary care screening and addressing children’s exposure to violence and other trauma AND/OR trauma symptoms? I am looking for literature and sites addressing not only children’s mental health needs but also specifically trauma. I know of some of the literature addressing various children’s mental health needs and assessing adult/parental trauma (exposure/symptoms) but haven’t found anything on child/adolescent trauma.
I’m interested in the literature and/or talking with anyone doing this.
Warmly
Lovie J Jackson Foster
