Subject:research opportunity for child welfare agencies
Greetings, we have a funded research project for which we are recruiting sites. Please pass along to those interested. Dan
Is your child welfare agency interested in adopting, SafeCare, an evidence-based parenting model as part of a research project?
SafeCare is an evidence-based parenting program for parents of children 0-5, and has been shown in randomized trials to reduce re-reports for child maltreatment. The National SafeCare Training and Research Center is recruiting sites to participate in a research project testing SafeCare to usual child welfare services. Sites serving child welfare referred families can receive training and support for implementing the SafeCare program for their participation.
Please click HERE for a 1 page summary of the project and HERE to be directed to a previously recorded webinar describing SafeCare, the research opportunity, and the next steps in applying to receive training at your site.
Should you have questions, please contact Colleen McCarty at cmccarty3@gsu.edu or Dan Whitaker at Dwhitaker@gsu.edu
