That hospital is La Rabida. Our progressive facility is a recognized leader in the treatment of chronic disease, disabilities, abuse and trauma--working closely with leading institutions that refer patients for specialty care. Trauma services are provided at the hospital, beautifully situated on Lake Michigan just minutes from downtown, as well as satellite locations throughout Chicagoland. Currently, an exceptional opportunity awaits the experienced Child Clinical/Pediatric Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with impressive leadership skills and specific supervised training in childhood trauma. In addition to providing trauma-focused assessment, testing, treatment, record review, etc., duties include administrative responsibility for day to day operations of the Child Abuse & Trauma Services (CATS) program. Utilizing multiple techniques and demonstrating best practice treatments for sexually abused and traumatized children, the Director of this program will lead forensic as well as clinical supervisors, manage staff and budgets. The Director will also be working with agencies, foundations, and other funding sources and will secure and renew funding through grant writing and reporting of outcomes.
