Subject:Tenure-Track position in child clinical psychology

Department of Psychology Faculty of Arts and Science Full-time tenure-track position of Professor of Clinical Psychology (Child) The Department of Psychology is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Child Clinical Psychology. Responsibilities The appointed candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level and in the Clinical Psychology Psy. D. program, supervise student research leading to theses and doctoral essays, engage in research and publications of a scientific and/or professional nature, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the institution. Teaching may take place at the Montreal campus or at the Laval campus. Requirements  Doctorate in Psychology (Ph. D. or Psy. D.) with a specialization in clinical psychology.  Knowledge of evaluation and intervention methods for children (0-12 years old) and of their theoretical and empirical foundations.  Relevant postdoctoral clinical experience in affective, developmental or cognitive evaluation and intervention with children.  Ability to supervise clinical practica in evaluation and intervention with children.  Demonstrated ability, via publications, to make an academic and professional contribution to the field. This position requires regular high-level publications in professional and academic journals.  Internship done in a CPA accredited programme constitutes an asset.  Experience in university teaching and student supervision constitutes an asset.  Member of or eligible to the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.  Proficiency in the French language.
