Subject:Research positions available in child welfare at Child Trends

Child Trends is growing and has two new positions in Child Welfare. Child Trend’s Child Welfare Program Area addresses the needs of children who have been or who are at risk of being abused or neglected, placed in foster care, or adopted. We focus on how child welfare and collaborative agencies are structured, funded, and administered; the policies and services implemented to address families’ needs; and how interaction with child welfare agencies affects the well-being of children and families. Through research and technical assistance, we seek to inform policy makers and improve front-line practice. We are currently seeking candidates who have a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree. For more information see http://www.childtrends.org/careers/ Please forward this notice to those you think would be interested.
