If you haven't already done it, we would suggest looking at the Polaris Project website (http://www.polarisproject.org/human-trafficking/overview ) -they have general info and also keep stats for each state. Connecticut keeps data on chiod trafficking victims - you might try contacting someone there. Also, you might find some info on the website for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (http://www.missingkids.com/home ) -----Original Message----- From: bounce-117925490-60505556@list.cornell.edu [mailto:bounce-117925490-60505556@list.cornell.edu] On Behalf Of Julie Lewellyn Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2014 4:07 PM To: Child Maltreatment Researchers Subject: sex trafficking and child welfare Hi Everyone, I am a doctoral student and I am interested in completing my dissertation on domestic minor sex trafficking. I would like to explore information that might be available in the child welfare system re: minor sex trafficking/prostitution. Does anyone have any ideas about what data would be available for me to collect from child welfare agencies? Any suggestions/ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!
