2014 Call for Abstracts Concurrent Workshops and Research Presentations The Chadwick Center for Children and Families, Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego will accept a limited number of abstracts for presentation at the 2014 San Diego International Conference on Child and Family Maltreatment. Date: January 26-31, 2014 Location: Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, San Diego, California Anticipated Audience: Approximately 1,800 professionals who deal with all forms of trauma to children and families Due date for Abstracts: March 8, 2013 If you wish to submit an abstract, please use our online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TV7XVXW2014CALLFORPAPERS Guidelines Workshop Abstracts * Each lead presenter is requested to make two 90-minute workshop presentations. For each workshop, please provide a new/different abstract * Prefer in-depth knowledge-building sessions rather than program descriptions or topic overviews * Speakers should assume that most attendees have a working knowledge of child abuse * Prefer evidence-based or research-based presentations * Prefer no more than two presenters for each session except special panels Research Abstracts * Generally 30 or 45 minute paper presentations within a 90 minute session * May be recently published * One Institution may do a 90 minute session if two or more different papers will be presented If you have any questions, please email sdconference@rchsd.org . ________________________ Jennifer A.
