Dear Listserve members We have four positions at the University of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center, These positions are located in Mechanicsburg PA, approximately 3 hours east of Pittsburgh and 2 hours west of Philadelphia. Evaluation Coordinator This position is responsible managing the evaluation of the Child Welfare Demonstration Project and serves as the primary contact person for the counties and other stakeholders involved . The Evaluation Coordinator coordinates data collection and the transfer of data between the counties/other stakeholders and the evaluation team and between the evaluation team and consultants. In addition, the Evaluation Coordinator will work independently or with others to collect data directly from key stakeholders and will be responsible for ensuring the quality of data. Finally, the Evaluation Coordinator will conduct basic data analysis and provide summaries of the data to the evaluation team and to counties as needed and will work with counties to make use of data locally. Position 0130613. Evaluation Specialist is responsible for the coordination and delivery of resources related to the evaluation of Pennsylvania’s Child Welfare Demonstration Project through the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (Resource Center). The Evaluation Specialist will assist the evaluation team with the overall logistics of the Demonstration Project including organizing and coordinating meetings, managing deadlines and allocating resources needed by the team to complete evaluation tasks Position 0130614 Statistician/ Analyst The Statistician/Data Analyst functions as a team member in the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center’s Statewide Quality Improvement Department and as a member of the evaluation team for the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Demonstration Project. The Statistician/Data Analyst has primary responsibility for performing statistical analyses of large datasets created by the database manager. Position number 0130611 Database manager This position will require working closely with all members of the Evaluation Team, as well as with state and national consultants. This person will be responsible for providing weekly quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data dumping routines, data security and confidentiality, and participant tracking. Quality assurance measures must all be automated. Other responsibilities include: design and update database components and programming in SQL and Microsoft Access; create SQLscoring algorithms; create SQL data dumping routine; set up SQL database design so that data dictionary and algorithm information is automated; create multiple reports that track a variety of issues (e.g., master list, track amounts of data received by each county and data last received, semi-annual and annual report data points, fiscal data/cost savings, summary of data collected and/or stored by counties and state).
