Most agencies have no standards beyond the minimum of once a month. A few years ago the NRC for Permanency and Family Connections researched the policy standards and there is a paper on their website. I have recently written a paper about why the once a month or even once week visits is not enough by best practice standards. I have not officially published the article yet. Contact me directly and I can share this information. Are there standards for this? Is there any relationship between visiting children in foster care and child or family outcomes? Thank you in advance. Glenn
