Subject:Re: Reasonable Efforts data

This is a questions we have looked at before, but it has posed some data collection difficulties. We are currently doing work with courtroom observation to track whether reasonable efforts were actively discussed during hearings and whether the judge orally made a finding on the record. We expect some early results of that study to be available later this year. I would like to know both for RE to prevent removal and RE to provide reunification services. Does anyone know if there is a source or if someone has done an assessment on this? Overall data would be great but even better if there is information why the judge made the ruling.
