Subject:FW: Home Visiting Evidence of Effectiveness (HomVEE) Call for Studies

FYI— Mathematica Policy Research® seeks studies for a comprehensive review of the evidence base for home visiting programs. The review is being conducted for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) by Mathematica (and subcontractor Dr. Brenda Jones Harden) and will be used to help inform the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program, which emphasizes and supports successful implementation of high-quality home visiting programs that have demonstrated evidence of effectiveness. The purpose of this new call for studies is to continue and update the existing evidence review, conducted over the past year. The results of the initial review, as well as detailed information about the review standards, are available on the HomVEE website (http://homvee.acf.hhs.gov/). The attached call for studies includes a description of the types of studies we are interested in receiving and instructions for submitting studies. The call for studies is also available on the HomVEE website. Submissions are due by April 15, 2010. Submissions should be e-mailed to HVEE@mathematica-mpr.com . If you have any questions about the call for studies, please contact Luke Heinkel at lheinkel@mathematica-mpr.com or (609) 945-3368. Thank you!
