Subject:Please consider providing some critical insights to future violence prevention research: Call for Participants

Below is a call for participants for a study seeking to gain insight into the experiences and needs of front line family violence prevention workers. This study wishes to include the perspective and needs of prevention workers to better inform future research that will be more appropriate for front line workers needs. Please consider giving some of your time and perspective to inform future of family violence prevention research. Call for Participants Linnaya Graf, a doctoral student at Walden University, is seeking family violence prevention workers in the state of Pennsylvania who would like to participate in a study to explore the factors that influence the application of empirical research to prevention practices. To be eligible for this study, you must be a family violence prevention worker who works directly with victims, prevention program services, or community members to prevent family violence, educate community members, or raise awareness of violence There is no direct compensation for participation in this study. However, data collected during this study can benefit family violence prevention by clarifying the needs and experiences of front-line family violence prevention workers and potentially improving family violence research in the future. Participation in this study will require conducting both an initial and follow-up interview. Interviews will consist of open ended questions and will be conducted by phone. During the interview you will be able to provide your perceptions and unique experiences To learn more about this study please contact Linnaya Graf at 1-717-467-4770 or at linnaya.graf@ waldenu.edu .
