Subject:Re: Swimming Instructors---NSPCC REPORT

Hi Toni,

I am aware of some recent reports by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) based on the UK. Specifically check "In at the deep end" an NSPCC report that was conducted using case reports from the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), on the 78 coaches accused by children of abuse between January 1997 and February 2001. Please check the link below.

I hope this is a helpful lead.

I am wondering if anyone is aware of the frequency of 4 and 5 year old

children receiving swimming lessons make allegations about their male

swimming instructors sexually abusing them.

I have just heard of two very recently. I have not previously had this.

Any thoughts?
