Subject:Re: Attitudes survey?

Hi Crystalle, I think I was the one who posted the original message. I couldn't find anything that worked for my study so I developed my own instruments. My study examined the effects of DV/CPS co-training receipt on DV advocates' attitudes toward CPS. It appears you're looking for something similar but from a CPS worker perspective. The original survey had about 72 items, which was pared down to 18 for the formal study. If you would like to take a look at them please send me a private email. I am in search of an instrument/ survey that can assess one's perceptions and attitudes towards domestic violence. Specifically, something that can evaluate the attitudes of CPS workers who work with families experiencing domestic violence. I googled this subject and was brought to an old page on this listserve from April 2007. It looks like someone requested the same thing, but I am not able to find a discussion about where to find such an instrument. The title of that thread was "DV Attitudes Survey Instrument for DV advocates and CPS workers.” If anyone knows how I can find this information, please let me know. Thank you! /*Crystalle Williams, MSW Social Services Consultant/ Trainer Child Welfare Services Division North Carolina Division of Social Services 704-399-8160 crystalle.williams@ncmail.net */
