Subject:Re: grants for child welfare research

I received about 30 emails from individuals stating that they also wondered about the lack of CB money dedicated to research. Unfortunately I did not receive any emails explaining why NIH supports billions of dollars of research and CB supports close to zero. If I receive a response, I will post to the group. Why is that? Why is there so little federal money dedicated to child welfare issues? The CB grants always seem to be limited to resource centers and programming. Can someone shed light on this issue?
