2ND NATIONAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE ON CHILD AND FAMILY PROGRAMS AND

POLICIES







We invite research abstracts for both papers and posters that focus on

child

and family programs, interventions, preventions, rules/regulations, and



policies. Research that has strong implications for child and family

programs/policies is also invited. Conference topics are open, but may



include:



Adoption

Aging families

Child care

Child maltreatment

Child welfare system

Divorced families

Early Intervention/Head Start

Education programs/policy

Family care giving, including "sandwich generation"

Family composition (adopted, blended/step, never-married, same-sex)

Family income supports

Family policy-making

Family violence / partner violence

Home visiting

Intergenerational family issues

Marriage and marriage policy

Military families

Parenting education

Prevention programs

School - family connection

Work-family life/balance

Working with policy-makers
