Hi all, Here is a link to a series of studies conducted at the Australian Centre for Child Protection at University of South Australia. The researchers comprehensively traced child protection content in key sentinel courses nationwide: teaching, social work, psychology, public health. These studies provided evidence to leverage action from university leaders (e.g. Australian Council of Deans of Education). http://www.unisa.edu.au/Research/Australian-Centre-for-Child-Protection/Training-and-Coaching/Professionals-Protecting-Children---series/ Another piece of research undertaken here was to “map” a set of shared outcomes, professional standards , and course elements across several disciplines training professionals to work with children 0-5 and their families. http://www.flinders.edu.au/mnhs/early-years/ .
