Author:Friend, Colleen

Subject:RE: Inquiry regarding graduate level

Debra, We have that kind of a certificate. We offer it to graduate students as an elective package, but since most of their coursework is spoken for, we end up serving mostly bachelor’s level and post bac students. I have attached our latest brochure. All of our placements take place in our Juvenile Court, with whom we have an interdisciplinary partnership. Thanks for asking, Colleen Friend Colleen Friend, Phd, LCSW Professor Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Services Communication Disorders; Director, Child Abuse and Family Violence Institute California State University, Los Angeles 5151 State University Drive Los Angeles, CA 90032 T 323.343.4696 Chair, California Social Work Hall of Distinction www.socialworkhallofdistinction.org calstatela.edu | Pushing Boundaries From: bounce-121769848-8269919@list.cornell.edu [mailto:bounce-121769848-8269919@list.cornell.edu] On Behalf Of Wolfe, Debra Schilling Sent: Monday, August 28, 2017 11:16 AM To: child-maltreatment-research-L@cornell.edu Subject: Inquiry regarding graduate level Does anyone know of either current or former graduate-level certificate or scholars programs in child welfare and/or child advocacy for students across disciplines and degrees? We are particularly interested in any university efforts to train graduate students with a cross-disciplinary lens. Wishing colleagues impacted by Harvey all the best.
