Subject:Fwd: Trauma informed trainings for foster parents

Hi, I am the Director of an Infant Mental Health program at Adelphi University that works closely with the Nassau County Child Welfare System. We have offered the NCTSN Resource Parent training a couple of times and also used to to teach students about trauma in a case based, experiential and dydactic way. I think the training is fantastic and very effective. The results are presented in these two articles: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0190740917301445 http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0190740917301342 We are currently conducting the first evaluation of ARC Reflections, another foster care training using Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency, but we haven't released the results quite yet. I believe there are several folks evaluating TIPPS-MAPP (Christian Connell would have some information on that) and the Resource Parent Curriculum -- perhaps someone on this list could chime in on those?
