Subject:CPS caseloads - legislation and research

My colleagues and I are looking for information on caseload standards for child protective caseworkers. Specifically, we would appreciate receiving information about any of the following: 1. Which states have legislation establishing caseload standards 2. Any studies conducted in the last five years documenting the effects of limiting CPS caseloads 3. Any sources of information regarding effective methodologies for setting caseload standards 4. Any studies on CPS caseloads or workloads that have been conducted by other states in the last five years or so, as well as information regarding the cost of conducting those studies Thanks for any information you can provide.
