we are piloting the ASQ. We will do some qualitative study on the process
of implementation and will be analyzing the ASQ quantitative results. We have
not found any information on this tool in the child welfare population so would
be very interested in continued dialogue on this issue and/or information you

to have procedures in place to refer children under age 3 who are substantiated
for maltreatment to early intervention services, our state is implementing
standardized developmental and mental health screening using the Ages and
Stages Questionnaire and ASQ-Socio-emotional version. Agencies are encouraged
to screen not only children delineated in CAPTA, but to expand the screening to
children under age 5 who are receiving child welfare services. I am interested
to know if other states are doing something similar to this and if so, what. I
would be interested to know if others have evaluated or are evaluating their
initiative, and results. I haven’t been able to get a good sense of this
anywhere I look. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
