There are two articles that might be of some help: "A Study of Potential Risk Factors for Sexual Abuse in Childhood" by Fleming, Mullen, & Bammer in Child Abuse and Neglect, 21(1):49-58, January, 1997. It indicates that having an alcoholic father increased the risk of sexual abuse perpetrated by a family members, while having an alcoholic mother increased the risk for being sexually abused by someone outside the family. "Maternal Protectiveness Following the Disclosure of Intrafamilial Child Sexual Abuse" by Heriot in Journal of Interpersonal Violence, 11(2):181-194, June, 1996. This article reports that mothers who abused drugs or alcohol were at risk for nonprotection. Hope these are helpful.
