Re: prospective studies of child maltreatment

Hello,

You might want to look into the University of Alaska's Justice Center Research Department.

Look specifically for research done by Andre' Rosay, Tara Henry and Katherine Tepas.

Here are some links:

http://justice.uaa.alaska.edu/research/index.html

http://justice.uaa.alaska.edu/publications/index.html

I saw this while perusing the listings:

Curtis, Richard W.; Langworthy, Robert H.; Barnes, Allan R.; and Crum, Peter. (1998). "Measuring Child Abuse and Neglect: A Review of Methods." In Robert H. Langworthy, Allan R. Barnes, and Richard W. Curtis, Results From the Long-Term Inmate Survey: Focus on Child Abuse Histories, background study B. Report prepared for the Alaska Department of Corrections. Anchorage, AK: Justice Center, University of Alaska Anchorage.

Good luck!

It grows with our social life, and a new social condition means a radical change in conscience."
