<html><P>Having done some time in CPS and as a current doctoral student, I think that if you are going to look at the relationships of perps to victims, you may want to further delineate the relationship for step parents and girl/boy friends of parents by length of time associated with the child and/or family. There may be some differences between "new" relationships vs "old" relationships, such as a stepparent who assumed the role 10 years ago for a 12 year old vs a step parent who came on board 6 months ago for a 12 year old. Just a thought...</P>
