Across Canada efforts are being made by Muslim organizations to be involved in what ever way they
can. There is quiet work that is carrying on that is not publicized as there is no infra structure
for publicizing such work nor is there a need seen for publicizing the work. Prayer groups, funding
meeting, brainstorming meetings etc are being held. For more information please contact
"Canadian Islamic Congress List " <cic@xxxxxxxxxx>
One additional comment, from a womens perspective rape for any group is atrocious -I would not want
it portrayed that it is less so for American women.
Sincerely
Sarah Maiter
