Reporting on Medical Care of Children in Child Welfare System

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">The Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) is beginning an attempt to create standardized aggregate reports for tracking the Medical Care delivered to children committed to our care. This is not an area to which we have devoted a lot of attention in the past. While the project is in its early stages,among the areas of interest are psychotropic medications, immunizations, primary care visits, and DCF nursing staff visits to children with Medically Complex Conditions. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Does anyone know of any states or other jurisdictions which have been particularly effective at creating such reports and using them to maintain or improve the quality and accessibility of health care?</FONT></P>
