ITP = Idiopathic Thrombocytopaenic Purpura.
Results from a reduction of platlets presumably the
result of a viral illness.

dx  = diagnosis.

Could people please spell out their acronyms? I
figure that MSBP is
Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy, and MMR might
be measles, mumps and
rubella vaccine, but I'm clueless about ITP. Another
author refered to dx,
which someone might not know is an abbreviation
for diagnosis.  Clarity helps.
