RE: assessing family functioning

The AAPI (Bavolek, 1979) is also useful to measure change in parents'
attitudes and beliefs.

What do people think about the usefulness of Milner's Child Abuse Potential
Inventory for the below?

Subject: assessing family functioning

Hi,

I am looking for a tool to assess family functioning for families who are at
risk of having children removed and who are enrolled in preventive services.
I want to be able to administer the assessment tool both before and after
services are provided, and I am looking for something that is short, easy to
administer, and generally accepted.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.
