Re: randomizing a sub-sample
While done on a much larger scale, the National Survey
of Child and Adolescent Well-Being (NSCAW) might offer
some guidance. The methodology chapter of the Baseline
CPS Sample as well as the Data File Users Manual of
the data set discuss how the team sampled cases within
agencies (primary sampling units or PSUs) and agencies
within regional areas (called strata). The Baseline
