I am curious to know if there is any published research
regarding counseling for children who have returned to their families after
foster care--I.e. counseling focused on the fact of having been separated from
one's family, as opposed to counseling for "emotional or behavioral
problems" in general. Also, post-reunification counseling for the entire family,
and any information as to whether such counseling improves the child(ren)'s
long-term adjustment and/or the likelihood of subsequent removal of the
child(ren).
