have experienced sexual abuse is Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy. It is typically a 12 session treatment program that addresses
related emotions and behaviors with both the affected child and nonoffending
parent, if there is one. There is a ton of research supporting its
effectiveness with a broad age range (even as young as 3). The therapy was
developed by Esther Deblinger and related research has been published by her and
Judy Cohen. </FONT></SPAN></DIV><BR>

would also like to know if there is any research that has established any
optimal length of counselling for these clients. I know that this will
depend on a range of facts, symptomatology, family circumstances for
example. Any literature would be helpful in completing a task for
