Re: False Allegations -Reply



I am interested in any theories concerning why, and when, reporters do and
do not report. I am familiar with studies, for example, by Zellman and
Crenshaw, both published in CAN. It seems to me that these studies, while
certainly worthwhile and based on plausible explanations, do not
delineate a theory in terms of specific psychological or
social-psychological mechanisms. But perhaps I have misread them and am
unaware of other work. Please advise.
