As for my DV advocacy bias, I refer you to Gelles' 2007 article, The Politics of Research: The Use, Abuse, and Misuse of Social Science Data - The Case of Intimate Partner Violence, <EM>Family Court Review</EM>, <EM>45</EM>(1), 42-51. Anyone involved in the development, implementation or evaluation of DV training curricula should read Gelles' article. He has done an excellent job of articulating many of my concerns regarding collective action framing (issue marketing) processes in domestic violence reform efforts. </P>
