two-year post-doctoral research fellowship, we seek candidates for a
clinical-research program focused on applied developmental psychopathology at
the university (efficacy) and community (effectiveness) interface. Our
current projects emphasize translational research and
effectiveness/implementation trials that draw upon the application of evidence-based
treatments for child/adolescent populations (e.g., behavior problems/disorders,
sexual offenses, child abuse) in settings/systems that have become increasingly
involved in the delivery of mental health services (e.g., pediatric primary
care, juvenile justice, child welfare, community mental health). Fellows
are encouraged to contribute to and/or manage clinical-research projects,
develop grant applications, and disseminate products having scientific,
practice, and policy implications. In all of these venues, opportunities
are provided to work with research investigators and community
leader/practitioners on efforts that integrate diagnostic/clinical assessments,
extend treatment protocols to real world settings, and train/collaborate with
professionals in multiple service sectors. </span></font></p>

the efficacy-effectiveness continuum, potential for academic/psychiatric
research, and the ability to think creatively and collaboratively. Must
have some clinical experience using CBT with child/adolescent patients and
their families, exposure to vulnerable and underserved populations, familiarity
with clinical and psychiatric aspects of childhood/adolescent dysfunction, and
interest in applied/treatment research in developmental psychopathology,
especially the conduct of clinical trials in community settings. A high
proportion of the graduates of this post-doctoral program have received
external funding. Fellows also may have an opportunity to interact with some of
the country’s leading clinical treatment researchers (e.g., Boris<i><span
