I am working with a student who is learning about evaluating programs
serving adult victims of spouse/partner abuse and their children, who
have often been abused as well. She is specifically focusing her
project on the evaluation of a court based intervention program. The
purpose of the program section she is studying is to provide victim
advocacy and education about the legal system of restraining
orders/injunctions and such to adult victims, in the hopes of
preventing subsequent assault.

We would like to find published or unpublished information about
evaluation of secondary prevention programs for victims of SA in
general, and specific court based programs as well.

As an additional point, she has observed that mothers seeking to obtain
restraining orders are asked if there is any reason why the spouse
should not have visitation rights with the children. Most mothers say
"NO," permitting unrestricted visitation, even though the abuser has
almost certainly put the child in danger, as well. We would like to
read about incidence and prevalence of child maltreatment in a home,
given that spouse/partner abuse has occurred.

Thanks for your help!
