To the list: I have been a member of this mailing list for the last couple of years, and have found it to be a useful source of information and contacts. I thought this might be a good time to send out some feelers. I am currently on my APA predoctoral internship finishing up my Ph.D. in clinical psychology. I will be looking for a post doc position for next year (to begin after my internship ends in August, 2000) My clinical work has focused on children, adolescents and families, family therapy, and also individual work with adults, primarily outpatient and in school settings. My current rotations are in a dual diagnosis TC program in a prison, and at a school for children with learning disabilities. My research interests include program evaluation and prevention programs (especially in schools and with families) and children's mental health service systems. While in grad school, I worked for the state of Vermont helping to evaluate prevention programs such as a Healthy Families program, an elementary school violence prevention program and 3 high school drop out prevention programs. My internship has a policy focus, and I will be working on a project looking at clinician adherence to treatment protocols in managed care settings. My ideal post doc would have both clinical and research components, and would be located along the Atlantic coast, New England, or the West Coast. However, I will consider any position that matches my interests. I would greatly appreciate any information about postdoctoral or employment opportunities. Thank you.
