RE: CHILD-MALTREATMENT-RESEARCH-L digest 852
This might not directly answer your inquiry, but a new report from the
Center on Law and Social Policy (CLASP) provides an overview of state laws
in the areas of paternity acknowledgment. It gives a starting place for
analysis and should be particularly helpful to those dealing with paternity
issues in interstate cases. To view the report, visit
http://www.clasp.org/publication s/voluntary_paternity_update.pdf.

I would like to review any research bearing on the social, economic,
emotional and health effects of establishing paternity for children in
and/or out of
foster care.
Information on any relevant studies would be greatly appreciated.
