RE: Postpartum Depression and Child abuse survey

An interesting and very similar problem to study would be grief related
abuse.

Has any one encountered studies that look at either issue?

Subject: Postpartum Depression and Child abuse survey

Hello,
In response to an Undergraduate Research Grant, 2 students that I am
mentoring are trying to survey individuals who work with child abuse cases.
The survey request information regarding the mother pertaining to their
mental status at the time of the abuse. The students are researching a
correlation between symptoms of postpartum depression and child abuse. The
survey is available on survey monkey at the following address:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=967492968763

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and all surveys will be
confidential. Please do not include the name of the client with your
survey. The results of the research will be placed on the listserv in the
near future. The Survey monkey survey will be available for 10 days. Thank
you very much with your assistance.

Sincerely,

Mark
