situation of African American children being removed from their homes
disproportionately, the parental rights being terminated and their subsequent
long stays in foster care, often until they age out. This article was based in
part on figures that are at this point a decade old.</span></font></p>

for children in foster care, by race, likelihood of adoption, etc? I know the
Anna E Casey foundation came out with a study recently on Latino infants in
foster care, but that was based on 15 cities only, if I remember&#8212;I don&#8217;t
know how representative it is. I am wondering if Charlow&#8217;s observations
continue to hold true, if the situation has improved or deteriorated, how it is
for American Indian children, etc. Any thoughts on this?</span></font></p>
