HARVARD FAMILIES AND ADDICTION PROGRAM:
Two positions in a Harvard Psychiatry Department program conducting 
research on family treatment and family processes among individuals with 
alcoholism and other drug problems.
	RESEARCH ANALYST: Clean and analyze existing data from completed outcome 
studies of behavioral couples therapy and from ongoing domestic violence 
projects. Responsible for maintenance of databases, datafile preparation 
for analyses by appointee and other scientists, participation in grant and 
paper writing. Requires prior job experience in a similar role, proficiency 
with SPSS, working knowledge of DBASE and Visual FoxPro. Prefer familiarity 
with specialist SEM/HLM packages.
	PROJECT DIRECTOR: For large  NIAAA longitudinal research project on 
domestic violence. Manage project staff, data, data analyses. Prepare 
papers for publication. Requires excellent skills in project and staff 
management, data management, data analyses, and writing. Prefer experience 
in similar large scale complex project, clinical background, career 
interest in families and addiction research, publications and grant writing 
experience. Desire to join Harvard faculty and build program preferred for 
both positions. Positions start May - August 2000, have an initial 
appointment term of  2-5 years, and are contingent on funding of grants 
under review. Preference will given to applications received by April 15, 
2000. Salary from $35,000 to $55,000 for 12 months and level of Harvard 
appointment dependent on position and qualifications.  Send letter
