Re: Chidren's Services Evaluation

You might be interested in California's Safe & Healthy Families (CalSAHF) and
ABC (Answers Bendfitting Children). These are comprehensive, integrated
interventions using center based parenting, parent child, and children's
groups along with home visiting and a multidisciplinary team consisting of
specialists in mental health, substance abuse, health, TANF, and other areas
of concern based on the population served. These programs are currently being
carried out in 25 sites throughout California. Goals include: preventing
child maltreatment & other adverse outcomes, improved parent child
interaction, reduction in social isolation, improved problem solving skills,
improved use of community resources.

A unified management information system is in place, along with standardized
measures and a quality management program. You might find these of interest.
