font-family:Arial'>I am looking for studies (published or not) that focus on
perceptions of relative care foster homes. We are currently investigating
a variety of issues related to adolescents moving from child welfare to
juvenile justice. At the adjudication phase (adjudication of a
delinquency petition that is) there are differences with regard to where
children live at time of arrest – controlling for a wide variety of
covariates including prior arrests, severity of the crime, age etc. I am
aware of the Beeman and Boisen (1999) article on profession attitudes towards
kinship care. I am wondering if anyone has measured similar perceptions
with regard to juvenile court judges and perhaps how such perceptions might
