with public child welfare agency involvement, but there is no regular collection 
or reporting of private agency adoptions.&nbsp; However 
a&nbsp;study&nbsp;published in 2004 looked across all types. &nbsp;"How Many 
Children Were Adopted in 2000 and 2001?" is available online at <A

I don't know if it has State level data or data sources, but it's worth
