Re: child trauma course

Lisa,
You may want to consider incorporating TF-CBTWeb, our new web-based
distance learning course for Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral
Therapy, into your new course. We have had contact from several
professors asking for permission to use it in their courses, which we
have granted. The web-based course includes descriptions of all TF-CBT
treatment procedures, video demonstrations of all procedures, client
homework ideas, cultural considerations for all procedures, and common
clinical challenges. Each module also has a pre and post test.
Licensed practitioners can receive 10 CE hours for the completing the
course. TF-CBTWeb was developed through a SAMHSA grant as part of our
National Child Traumatic Stress Network center activities and is free to
all users. It can be accessed at www.musc.edu/tfcbt.
