I would also recommend Andrade, A. R. et al. (2000). "Dose effect in child
psychotherapy..." J. Am Acad Child Adolesc Psychiatry, 39:2 p. 161-. If
you're interested in duration of treatment or analyses of treatment
episodes, check out E. Michael Foster's work with the Fort Bragg CHAMPUS
sites (both inpatient and outpatient treatment modalities). Also, a good
explanation of the complicated relationship between clinical outcomes and
treatment intensity or dose, see his "Is more better than less? An analysis
of children's mental health services." (2000). Health SErvcies Research,
35:5.
