The impact of the trauma of separation would be difficult to separate from
all the other cumulative traumas in the lives of children who are in either
foster or kinship care. If there are studies focused on this, I too would
love to see them.

Does anyone know of any recent studies conducted on trauma that occurs when
children have been removed from their birth parents? Any information would
be appreciated. Thanks.
