POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP in Child Maltreatment at the University of
Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey-<br>
School of Osteopathic Medicine available September 2005: <br>
This represents an exciting opportunity for career development by joining
a multidisciplinary child abuse team committed to<br>
providing the highest caliber clinical services and to conducting
state-of -the-art research. This position offers a variety of clinical
and research opportunities in the area of child maltreatment. <br>
Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations of child
victims involved in investigations of alleged child abuse and<br>
providing individual and/or group therapy to families and children who
are victims of child physical and/or sexual abuse. In <br>
addition, this position includes the opportunity to participate in a new
state-wide initiative to provide mental health screenings<br>
and medical examinations to children entering foster care.<br>
Other opportunities are available to assist in the implementation of
research protocols and dissemination of findings.<br>
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Psychology with child
clinical experience or emphasis. Appointment is a 12-<br>
month, full-time position with a variable starting date, and the
possibility of renewal for a second year.<br><br>
