Deborah Daro also wrote journal article recently (in the last year or so) on
the Three Waves of Prevention which gave the history of prevention efforts
in the country.  I can't remember the exact citation.  You should contact

excellent keynote on this topic at WI's Call to Action on Child Abuse and
